This round was a unique round, and I may be a copycat, but I really liked what Wendy did and thought it would look perfect on my quilt! I used 5-inch finished squares so that they would wrap around the corners like a vine. I pulled out all the green batiks I had to find just the right color for the inserts and was happy to find the pale green Mint yardage (from Island Batik) for the background.
For today I was racing the rain - I got out to take a picture just as the drops started falling! Just enough time to stick it to fence and take a quick picture! My quilt is up to 50 x 50 now - two rounds left, I believe! This was a fun round, can't wait to see what's next - I feel like my quilt is really starting to come together.

What counts is how well your choice works with your quilt. We all draw on the work of others in many ways.
