I cannot believe we are starting the last week of our Road Trip Quilt Along! Today's block is Road to California. We'll do several blocks this week that incorporate these same basic units. They are all simple, you just have to watch your unit orientation and placement!
For our first full day in California, we decided to splurge and have a day at Disneyland! I forgot to make reservations early enough, so we ended up having to get Park hopper tickets and spend the morning at California Adventure. It was our first time there and we ended up having a great time checking it out! Found some new favorite rides, too! Can't help but love all the palm trees!
Soarin Over the World was a blast! We both really loved it! After that we walked around and rode a few more rides - we liked the Goofy Flight School coaster, and the Radiator Springs Racers were super fun, even though the line was super long.
Next time I want to ride this! It looks like fun!
Then we moved over to Disneyland and road most of our favorite rides. We ended the night at the new Star Wars area and flew the Millenium Falcon. It was fun, too! I didn't take many pictures, but we had a really great day!
And my nine inch version - ha, I used the same fabric for the triangles in this one!
