Today's block is a fun one, I really like the swirly look of it! This is called Next Door Neighbor.
Cutting instructions:For 4 inch
block cut four 1 1/2 x 2 inch rectangles of background and two of light and dark. Cut eight 1 ½ inch squares of background and
two each of light and dark.
For 6 inch
block cut four 2 x 3 ½ inch rectangles of background and two of light and dark. Cut eight 2 inch squares of background and
two each of light and dark.
Use the dark and light rectangles and the white squares to make four flying geese units.
Sew the light and dark squares to one side of each of the background rectangles. I've finger pressed the diagonal line from the bottom left to the upper right of the square. All the seams must be sewn in the same manner.
Sew the flying geese blocks in pairs with these half geese units.
Then arrange them with the triangles in the center and sew together!
Isn't this a fun one?
