More Dear Jane Progress, and OMG for November

I got to work over the weekend trying to catch up a bit on my Dear Jane quilt.  I didn't make getting my top finished, but I am so close!  This final border has a lot of applique (of course...).  I got these blocks done on Friday and Saturday:

I finished another one yesterday, but forgot to take a picture.  That leaves 7 more to go!  My bin of blue fabrics is really going down, so I'm curious to see if I'm going to have enough to cut all the solid triangles that go between these.  If not, I'll have to take a dig through my scrap bin and see if I can find some more fabric - I'm trying to use as many different ones as I can.  There are a few duplicates in the quilt, but not very many yet!  I've decided to have two definite goals for this month's OMG - and finishing this top is one of them.

Number two is to finish this quilt.  The fabric is one that I fell in love with many years ago.  It's called Patisserie by Fig Tree Quilts.  I bought a Jelly Roll at Boersma's in McMinnville, Oregon and purchased yardage to go with it.  Then I just let it sit for 7 years!  Time to sew this up into a quilt!  I'm using a pattern from the book Jelly Roll Magic.  I think the pattern is called Starstruck?  I'll look and tell you later!  It's 45 degree diamonds, I had already got the strips sewn into sets and paired up, so it was just cutting and sewing to get the diamonds finished, which I did yesterday!  I cut the background triangles today, so this project is definitely on a roll.  I think I'll use the coordinating fabrics for the back of this one.

I've got more projects going this month as well, including a fun quilt for the Island Batik Ambassador Challenge.  This month is another blog hop!  (That means more fabric giveaways, so stay tuned!)  I'm excited about this one, I have a great quilt planned with really fun fabrics!  I also have some Christmas quilts to work on, plus a few other fun projects in the works.  Busy, busy, as usual!  Plenty of blogging topics, for sure!  What are your goals for this month?
