October saw a bit less stitching as we welcomed Juliette to the family! Definitely the highlight of the month, she is such a doll. I did make her a cute litle minky backed pink and gray quilt that mom uses in her car seat when they go out.
I made a lot of triangles for the Dear Jane quilt, but nothing to report their yet - I plan on finishing that in December, it's my final UFO for the year!
Metro Rings was my finished UFO for this month. It was pretty time consuming to trim up all the arcs, but the quilt looks great! And I finished up my Island Batik Ambassador challenge for the month! Another time consuming, but totally worth it project!
With those added, I've finished a whopping 50 quilts so far this year! That just blows me away - it's absolutely crazy to think I've finished that many projects. I'll have to go through the list and see how it breaks down with shop samples and Island Batik challenges. I am feeling good about getting the UFO's done as well as finishing all the things I've started! I did remove the blue and yellow quilt I was thinking of starting from the list as there is no way I need to start a big project before the end of this year! Dear Jane is going to be the big finish so I am concentrating on that.
Thanks again, Gail for encouraging me in getting these done, your PHD in 2020 has sure helped me make progress! I'm thinking I might get pretty close to finishing all of mine up next year - wouldn't that be something.
Linking up with the monthly progress report.
