This one uses four half square triangles, and squares arranged to make this distinctive shape that we all know well!
For a 3 inch block, cut two 1 7/8 squares (cut in half
diagonally) and three 1 ½ square of blue.
Cut two 1 7/8 (cut in half diagonally) and two 1 ½ inch squares of
background fabric.
For a 6 inch block, cut two 2 7/8 squares (cut in half
diagonally) and three 2 ½ square of blue.
Cut two 2 7/8 (cut in half diagonally) and two 2 ½ inch squares of
background fabric.
Sew four 1 ½ inch
(2 ½ inch for 6 inch blocks) half square triangle units with blue/white
triangles. Arrange in a nine patch as
shown and sew together.
If you've made it this far, you are doing great! Tomorrow we'll be half way to the finish line, so you deserve a pat on the back and a "Well Done!"
So, I'm going to spread some love and give out another bundle of fabric! These are scraps from my Fancy Feathers quilt made with the Eclectic Garden Line by Island Batik. Show me you completed block(s) from this week and I'll draw for a winner on Thursday again! These purples, blues and greens are so lovely I know you will find something fun to make out of them.
If you need help with your entry, let me know! I'll be happy to add your photo for you, so everyone can see your progress.

I can't find your InLinks site. I don't have a blog to link with. How do I email a picture to you? I am really enjoying this project - reminds me of how much I like working with small blocks.
