Island Batik Unboxing Number Two 2024

Yep, it's that time of year again, Island Batik Christmas in July, as we Island Batik Ambassadors like to call it!  The big brown UPS truck dropped off two large boxes for me a while ago, and I want to share with you what they contained.  (So many goodies provided to me at no charge by the Island Batik Ambassador program and their sponsors)

I had my boxes all set up to videotape my unboxing.  Got everything off, went around to shut off the camera and realized I never hit the record button - oops!

I didn't want to have to pack everything back in the box, so I just started from here and filmed my video!  It does turn into a bit of a comedy show (of course!) but I'm pretty happy with the end result.  I want to thank Island Batik, Aurifil Thread, Hobbs Batting and By Annie for the awesome supplies you have provided for us!  It's going to fun making all of this bounty into five different projects!  Here is my video:

If you would like a closer look at all these goodies, keep reading my post!

Packages of Batting from Hobbs!  Including a new to me premium cotton batting - so soft!

A fun project to make from By Annie in November!  (I got to choose the fabric and pattern for this, and all the supplies are included!)

A surprise half yard bundle with coordinates for the November Blog Hop!

Half yard Bundle with coordinates and Aurifil thread for the September Blog Hop!  Geometrica designed by Jerry Khiev!

Ten half yard cuts of batid foundations to go with any of the projects - these are always available!

Stashbuilder rolls - I think I will use these for my December project!

Precuts!  I'll be using these in August for my Miniature challenge (more about that next week!)

Neutral and solids - black, white, gray and Vanilla!  These can go with any project.  It's sure nice to have enough background fabric to work with!

I'm excited to start working on my projects!  Now I have to go clean out my shelf and find a spot to put all this abundance...

Thanks again to Island BatikAurifil ThreadHobbs Batting and By Annie as well as Schmetz Needles, Oliso and Studio 180 designs for the supplies in the first shipment!
