Awesome Lone Star Quilts!

Hope you've been keeping up with the Island Batik Lone Star Blog hop!  If not, you need to catch up on the fabulous quilts!  I've been busy sewing like a fiend getting my quilt done for next week - I think my philosophy of "go big or go home" may have bitten me in the back side, but it was well worth it!  I took it out for pictures today and can't stop scrolling through them - I think it's one of my favorite quilts ever (do I say that every month?).

You will definitely want to enter the giveaway for this week!  See that top bundle?  That's what I got to use for my quilt, and it is fabulous!

Here is the schedule for this coming week - I'll be showing my project on Tuesday!  Don't miss it!!

Finishing up the binding is my favorite part!

Completing one. I also like seeing the design come together as I sew it.

I get a real high when picking out the fabrics ( no need for drugs to get high, for me it is fabric). And putting in the last stitch gives a satisfaction.

I love the entire process -- never in a hurry to finish! I enjoy the entire trip, not just the destination! [lynnstck{at}yahoo.com]

Love combing books, internet for my next quilt. Never ending because I am always starting one, before I finish the one I am working on at present!
