Progress on My Crochet Rag Rug

Well...not much happened around here today!  My daughter and I got the outdoor lights done since the sun was shining and it looks like we'll be getting rain the rest of this week.  I've been trying to get this done all week, so I'm glad we got everything up and looking good at last.  I think tomorrow I'll get the last of the decorating done and be ready to just enjoy looking at it all for the rest of the month!

By the time we got all that done it was about dinner time, and I didn't feel much like sewing.  I did get one ball of strips sewn to my working strip on the rag rug, so I'm ready to stitch more on this!  I want to get my binding scrap bin emptied out by the end of the month so I can start fresh with the new year.  I'm also going to cut some strips from my scraps for this project.  It's looking a little lopsided, but I'm doing my best to flatten it out!  I love the scrappiness of it!

And here are those scrappy mug rugs I was working on yesterday!  So fun, I definitely will put more of these on my list to make.  I love playing with scraps!
