Dear Jane Quilting - Column 6

Yesterday was a bit of a lost day - had to go to the dentist to replace a crown.  I dread going to the dentist, so it really takes it out of me.  Luckily there was no drama in the procedure and the temporary was very well done as well - good thing because the permanent one won't be here until February!  That lab is super backed up like everything else is these days!  My new glasses finally arrived at the optometrist after 5 weeks and I need to go pick those up later.

I did finally get myself out of the recliner and quilted another column on Dear Jane.  I also started thinking about how to do the scalloped border.  I have a plan for marking it out, so will work on getting that done, and think about how I want to quilt them.  I also need to choose a binding fabric.  That will be on the bias and hand stitched on the back, so want to get that ready since it will probably take a couple days to do that at the end.
I also quilted one of the corner blocks!  I figure one every three columns.  I didn't take a lot of pictures because it was dark and it's hard to get decent pictures.  But I'm still making progress.  I need to gear up the PJ pant factory, though.  Washed all the flannel Monday, so I'm ready for sewing.  I think I'll do it in batches instead of all in one day.  The farthest to mail have to come first, but we are waiting for some packages to arrive before we mail stuff out, so at least I'm not holding things up.

Are you ready for Christmas?  I did purchase the last of my gifts yesterday, so I'm making good progress :)
