I often use beautiful photos or color combinations I see in adds for inspiration. Of course Pinterest is also a great place to get inspired!

Colors and the patterns in the fabric, inspire me. Reading the blogs of quilters always brings me a burst of creativity.
ReplyDeleteThey are really pretty fabrics! Love them all!
ReplyDeleteDon't laugh but it's often rugs, curtains, or floors I see while on trips that intrigue me with new shapes. I always travel with a book for sketching out ideas.
ReplyDeleteI can be inspired by so many things; a picture, a memory, a piece of music, a saying; the list is endless especially when a squirrel comes to visit! 😄
ReplyDeleteCan’t wait to see everyone’s projects with these incredibly beautiful new fabrics!

ReplyDeleteI am inspired by looking at photos and looking at what colors of autumn leaves look pretty together. Outdoors has many color combos. Enjoy your day. angielovesgary2 atgmail dotcom 🌻
ReplyDeleteLike you, I am sometimes inspired by fabric. Other times it's nature, or colors I see in magazine photos, or lines of buildings and such. Same as most people who are interested in art and pretty things I suppose.
ReplyDeleteI get most creative when I have an occasion to make something like a birth, wedding, family gathering, etc. I love quilting, cooking and baking! So when I have an immediate desire to make something for someone I am like so into the process of letting the fabric or a pattern direct me. Same with recipes. I have 'regular' specialties I bring, but, surprises are nice too! So quilting for me is an adventure. It's like I tuck away ideas until they're needed =}
ReplyDeleteUsually an already made project, fuels my creativity. I love going to quilt shows because of that.

ReplyDeleteI love batiks and these are exceptionally beautiful. As a musician and an art quilter, I am inspired by nature and the creativity of others. These batiks speak to me loudly and clearly!
ReplyDeleteI never know where or when inspiration will strike - sometimes it's nature, or a fabulous photo posted on social media, and then there are times when I see the fabric, immediately envision a quilt, and once smitten - must make. Great giveaway - thanks
