OMG finish for October - Metro Rings

I was starting to think I wouldn't get my One Monthly Goal finished this month, but I did it!  I buckled down on Monday and finished up the quilting on this lovely quilt!  I really like the old fashioned look of it, so felt like the meander quilting in the white portions (Kona Snow) would add some more old fashioned charm!

I had just enough of the Snow left to use for the binding.  I tried a couple of pieces from my stash for the back, but the colors just weren't quite right.  Then I found a nice size piece of plain white and decided that it was meant to be!
This quilt would make a wonderful wedding gift!

Or a tablecloth!
Or a sofa throw!

This quilt finished at 57 x 57 and is available for purchase in my Etsy shop.  It features a cotton batting with scrim, and was quilted with Aurifil thread

The quilt went together well with the Quick Curve Ruler and Metro Rings Pattern.  I decided to sell my pattern and ruler because I'm pretty sure I won't be using them again and I really need to downsize my collection a bit!  They are available in my Etsy destash shop for $20.00

Linking up with Elm Street Quilts for my finish!

Lovely. That quick curve ruler is easy to use but I've never tried anything this complicated. Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations on finishing Metro Rings. It's beautiful. And yes, the meander was a perfect quilting pattern! I love how you also used snow on the binding! It's perfect!
Happy Quilting! :-)
