June Mini Madness: Block 26 Rolling Stone

I hope you are ready for this one - lots of pieces!  We'll be making some teeny little diamond in a square units, but I know you've got this!

Let's get the pieces cut out:

For 3 inch block cut four 1 ½ squares of red, four 1 inch squares and a 1 x 7 inch strip of blue, and twelve 1 inch squares, a 1 x 7 inch strip, and a 1 ½ inch square of background. For 6 inch block cut four 2 ½ squares of red, four 1 ½ inch squares and a 1 ½ x 11 inch strip of blue, and twelve 1 ½ inch squares, a 1 ½ x 11 inch strip, and a 2 ½ inch square of background.

Make four diamond in a square units using the red squares.  Sew three background squares and one blue square to each one, trimming seams to 1/8 of an inch to reduct bulk.

Sew the strips together and cut into 1 1/2 inch squares (2 1/2 for 6 inch block).

Layout and sew block together!

Just four more blocks and we'll be ready to assemble our tops!  I'm so excited...
