June Mini Madness: Block 17 Two by Two

Let's take a break from half square triangles today and do some strip piecing!

This block is super easy and fast to make with strip piecing:

For 3 inch block, cut a 1 ¼ by 9 inch strip each of red and blue.

For 6 inch block, cut a 2 x 15 inch strip eachof red and blue.

Remembe to check that your strips are the correct measurement across!  Always good to check that seam allowance...

Sew strips together on long side and cut into 2 inch squares (3 ½ inch squares for 6 inch block)  Lay out as shown and sew together.
