Day 4 - 31 Day Blog Writing Challenge

Today's prompt was tools, but since I just posted about those on my Tool Time post on Saturday, I thought I'd give you a peek at what I'm working on this week.  This is a King size!! version of my Fancy Feathers pattern that was commissioned by a local man as a Christmas gift for his wife.  I'm on Day 3 and Bobbin 9  The end is in sight!  Then there's the binding...king size quilts are not easy, that's for sure.

It's done in the same colors as the original.  It would have been fun to to some custom quilting on this, but I decided to do the same hook swirl as the original quilt.

I'm enjoying the quilting even though it is a long process for a quilt of this size!
