I took a little time for some fun sewing and finished up this barn block into a cute little quilt. This would make a neat small wallhanging for fall! That's one orphan block out of the drawer, anyway...I've got quite a few left!
I made a new shop sample using my CityScape pattern. This fabric is Howdy - would make a sweet quilt for your little cow-girl! You can make any size of a quilt with this pattern - and it's fat quarter friendly. I just changed the cover on this one with a version made from Island Batik fabric, and I love it! This is a hot seller at my local quilt shop, and I've made a lot of different samples with it.
My patterns are now available on QuiltWoman.com! I've been working hard at updating them and adding them, but it's a slow process. I do enjoy the process, but it does take time to get everything just right. I am learning new things with every pattern I take on and I find it quite enjoyable. It's almost as fun as quilting! It's a good evening "sit-down activity" I am finding lots of patterns that need new cover models, though.
My guild's show was last weekend and it was super fun! I won a blue ribbon for my Fractured Bargello Jacket! The ribbons were super cute as you can see below:
So, as you can see, I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, just busy with lots of projects and activities. I am working at getting back into a normal routine of blog posts and planning future projects as well as lots of quilting! Speaking of which, it's time to make my way into the sewing room and see what's next on the list - hope you are all well and being productive, too.
