Fall is in the air!

It's definitely feeling like fall here - last week I got up and it was actually in the 40's!  My car's rear tires needed some air, too, so they were feeling the chill as well.  We've had some nice rainy days, which makes the sunny ones feel even better and the leaves are starting to turn here and there.  Yes, I think autumn is making it's appearance!

I've started a project with these lovely prints, plus a panel.  I love the soft colors, so I think I'm really going to be happy with the results!  This is Bountiful by Sandy Clough for P&B textiles.  They were sent to me by Missouri Star Quilt Company as part of the Creator Program, and I just love them!  I can't wait to share my finished quilt - I'm adapting a new pattern for it, and I think it's pretty great.

This project looks pretty fall-ish as well! I'm finally finishing up this Road Trip top for my husband - I gave him the top and a promise to get it done for his birthday in March.  He wants a puffy quilt, so I am tying this and using two layers of fluffy polyfil batting.  I got the tying done yesterday, so today the binding can happen and he can watch football under his new quilt - now that's a perfect fall day for both of us!

I'm also working on getting some quilts added to my second Etsy shop!  It's that time of year - though I don't want to rush fall, Christmas will be here before we know it.  I've got quilts of all sizes, shapes and color schemes available, so if you need a gift, make sure you check it out.  I've even got some fun scrap bags available from my stash.  More quilts coming soon, too.

All these pieces are sewn up into my Friendship Star blocks for the Hometown Nostalgia Row quilt!  Hope your stitching is coming along as well!

Wishing you a happy Fall - if you are looking for a new project to kick off the season, here's a discount code for 20% off any pattern in my Etsy shop:
