It's been such a busy week...the weather has been nice and we are hard at work trying to get outdoor chores done before the rains start.  Today I ended up walking almost 10,000 steps, most of them in my own yard!  Most of this week's work has been laying down river rock in different places.  We are happy with how it's coming out so far!  It'll mean a lot less maintenance in the future, so that will be wonderful!

I did get a new project started - I have some five inch squares cut from the Island Batik Santorini collection I got to work with last year and have wanted to try making a Cobblestones table Runner with them.  I think it will be beautiful!

I'm excited to start working on my Catch All Caddy 2.0 - this will be part of the blog hop in November!  I think it will be nice as part of my plan to get my sewing room more organized!  The fabric is Morris Tiles, and it's so pretty!

I'm also hoping we can finish painting the back of the house!  (That's my sewing room window next to the garage.)  We are feeling under the gun since November is right around the corner!  It makes me look forward to rainy days, more quilting, and less work outside.  At least it's not a lot of being up on the ladder, I can be grateful for that!  I am excited to get the trim painting since we are changing the color from dark red to a pretty blue.  We decided to stay with white for the house since that allows us to paint one side a year and not have it look too terrible!  My plan is to get out in the morning while it's still overcast and see how far I can get before it gets too sunny.

Maybe I can get some quilting done in the afternoon.  I'm working on an overdue custom quilt, and I'd love to have it finished over the weekend.  I'll let you know on Monday how it all goes!

Wishing you a fun and productive weekend!
