PHD in 2021and Quilts for a Cause Blog Hop plus a featured post!

 I'm going to start out this post by sharing that my placemats were featured in Aurifil's Showcase Sunday! It was certainly a thrill to see them right up front on the page banner - woohoo!

Here is my first UFO finish for the year:

Alouette was completely quilted and bound yesterday afternoon!  I have some new starts on the list, but should get those done in February.  A good start for the year!  Linking up with Quilting Gail!

  2. I love batik fabric because it is two sided and the bright colorful designs are so pretty. Your placemats look wonderful and how great that you already have a finish for your goals.

  4. Batiks love, let me count the ways! Strong vibrant colors, can use both sides, doesn't ravel, plays well with other fabrics :)

  8. I like batiks for the range of color in a single fabric. Also the tightly woven fabric is great for applique!
