Just a quick post today, but come back tomorrow when I share my finished bag for the Island Batik blog hop - It's In the Bag! Today, I just wanted to share what happenned yesterday!
Yes! I fiinished the last row of the center of my Crazy Jane quilt! And I am so pleased with how it looks - I still have two full borders and the last few triangles of the second border to go, but I know I can do this! I've started researching what I want to do with the batting and backing so I am ready to start quilting when I get it done. Woohoo!!!
Here is the schedule for this week for the blog hop. Be sure to go all the way to the bottom and enter in the drawing - two winners will receive a lovely fat quarter bundle from Island Batik!

ReplyDeleteThat is a double WOW here from me. Lovely and such an achievement!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt. I am nowhere close to being able to tackle something like this because of time, other commitments and my skill set isn't quite there yet. Love the colors of the quilt too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a relief to get that last row finished! It's exceptionally pretty! A work of art.
ReplyDeleteGuess I should answer the question. Quilting has affected my every-day life. Such a terrific outlet for creativity, a chance to use color and pattern, and just create. Thank goodness my grandmother was a quilter - she has inspired me all these years later.
ReplyDeleteWow! It looks great!!
