Quilting Distractions

I am a very distracted quilter - always working on more projects that I can deal with!  This week I finished quilting a project that's been basted for a while -

Pieced a top and started quilting a shop sample -

Cut lots of batting scraps and flannel up to make my first rag quilt (and a bag full of squares to make more!)

And finished 5 Quilted journals with birds-

Not bad for a week's worth of sewing!

Quilting With a Friend

Today I helped a friend to work on her rag quilt. Technically I didn't do any of the stitching, but I did pin all the squares for her. Two hours went by really fast with chatting, pinning and stitching! I think that we might be able to finish getting the top together next week, but she is on her own with the snipping!
